1. Our Commitment
At YAS, we take pride in the quality of the products we sell. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please read our refund and returns policy carefully before placing an order.
2. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns under the following conditions:
• The item was received damaged or defective
• The wrong item was delivered
• The item is unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received
• The return request is made within 7 days of delivery
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons:
• Opened personal care or beauty products
• Perishable food items (pantry/cooking products) once opened
• Baby care items that have been unsealed
• Items purchased on sale or clearance
3. How to Initiate a Return
To request a return, please follow these steps:
• Step 1: Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order via email at returns@yas.co.ke or WhatsApp at +254 792 222 778
• Step 2: Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return
• Step 3: Attach clear photographs of the item and packaging (required for damaged/wrong items)
• Step 4: Our team will review your request within 2 business days and provide return instructions
4. Return Shipping
If the return is due to our error (wrong or damaged item), YAS will cover the cost of return shipping. If the return is for any other reason, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as YAS cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
5. Refunds
Approved Refunds
• Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item
• Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (M-Pesa, card, or bank transfer)
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
Exchanges
If you would prefer an exchange instead of a refund, we will send you a replacement item once the original return has been received and inspected, subject to stock availability.
6. Retail Partners
If you purchased an YAS product through one of our retail partners (third-party stockists), please contact the retailer directly for their returns policy. YAS cannot process returns for purchases made through third parties.
